Project in brief

CESARS is the satellite telecommunications support and expertise centre provided by CNES for firms and institutions.

Support may span study phases to access to the CESARS technical platform, including testing on a satellite link of systems and applications.

Support from CESARS serves to:

  • Define and analyse telecommunications needs
  • Identify satellite and/or terrestrial solutions
  • Verify the technical feasibility and economic viability of solutions
  • Test systems or applications
  • Lend hardware to applicants
  • Put applicants in touch with other firms and/or specific CNES contacts, depending on their requirements
